Meet Denielle

Denielle has been a Registered Physiotherapist just over five years. During that time she gained experience from working at public and private facilities including the National Women’s Football Team and The Sports Medic TT Ltd both of which she worked with a lot of national athletes.

 

Her love for sports, foot ball in particular, is what led her into the field work. Denielle is a former National Youth Footballer and in her prime, she sustained injuries which created the path to her first encounter with a physiotherapist. Even though she gained an interest in physiotherapy during her many months of ankle rehabilitation, after high school she began pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering at UWI St Augustine. However, she realized that she wanted a profession that kept her close to sports for the rest of her life and that's when she decided to apply to Physical Therapy School at UWI Mona Jamaica. Denielle is a very active person so having a job that keeps her active was important.

 

Denielle is also a former Miss World TnT finalist and she believes that women have the ability to excel in any field that they choose and that women should empower other women to do the same. Therefore, having a female-run clinic was very important to her. After working with Shannon doing ergonomic workshops for Bermudez she realized that they made a perfect match - They have common and different interests in the field of physiotherapy thus they have a lot to offer with respect to the services they provide.
